Probably most known as the front man for popular band Switchfoot, these [Fall and Winter] are the first two EP’s in a solo series that he is putting out. The following two EP’s will complete the 4 seasons.
It’s quite a departure from his bands sound, each with it’s roots in more of the folk genre. They are great songs with strong lyrics. Very impressed by these releases. Give them a listen!

Starbucks + iPhone

A Ramble in Olmstead Parks
Posted on January 3, 2008
Olmsted wrote that “a great object of all that is done in a park, of all the art of a park, is to influence the mind of men through their imagination.”
“Friedlander is someone who reminds me of the pleasure of seeing itself,”
“The work is interesting because I think he’s seeing these places as kinds of living works of art,”
“he was interested in showing a selection of the works because he saw a deep affinity between Olmsted and Mr. Friedlander, in part having to do with their mutual belief in the rewards of paying attention and looking at the world.”
